Sofia Travels arranges personally guided horseback riding trips in Morocco – from the Sahara Desert to the Atlantic Coast. The trips are aimed at those looking for small groups, safe horses and a calm, present experience in nature. Here you will find horseback riding trips in the Sahara and horseback riding along the Atlantic Coast.

To participate in the riding part you need to be comfortable with all gaits and feel safe and confident on the horse — including in open spaces and varied terrain.

Luxury adventure on the Atlantic coast!
Treat yourself to a beautiful week in magnificent Morocco – filled with horses, relaxation, nature and a touch of luxury.
We stay at the stunning Dar Boutazert, where you will have your own private suite, beautiful surroundings and access to the pool. During the week, horseback riding, yoga, drinks before dinner and delicious three-course meals are included, as well as one optional treatment such as massage, pedicure or reiki healing.
We ride our wonderful Berber/Arab horses through the scenic landscapes along the Atlantic coast, with rides adapted to different levels and wishes.
Everything is arranged for you except the flight ticket – all you need to do is arrive and enjoy.

On New Year's Eve, we'll ride or walk alongside our camels through the golden sand dunes of the Sahara, set up camp in the desert and welcome the New Year under a breathtaking star-filled sky. You'll also have the opportunity to ride a beautiful Barb-Arabian horse, visit fascinating local communities and meet the warm and welcoming Berber people.
