Enter the new year under the stars
Welcome to celebrate the New Year in the Sahara! Enter the new year under the Moroccan starry sky, ride in the Sahara dunes, in oases, in the stone desert and through Berber villages, meet the locals. We spend two nights trekking with our camels in the great dunes of Merzouga and two and a half days on horseback. You will have the opportunity to shop in local villages, visit a womens' cooperative, yoga, and why not go to the hammam.

Program:
Day 1
Arrival and transfer.
Day 2
We drive south through the Atlas Mountains towards Sahara, we pause for breakfast in the mountains. The journey continues towards Agdz where it is said that the Sahara begins. Here we spend the night. We have dinner with a local family and go for a walk among the date palms.
Day 3-4
After breakfast and yoga, we head towards the large dunes of Merzouga. We arrive at our nice desert camp just in time for lunch and we now get to meet our camels and start our hike. For two nights we sleep in tents in the Sahara dunes, enjoy starry nights, cuddle camels and of course celebrate the new year in this magical environment.
Day 5
After breakfast we return to the camp and it is time to meet our horses and ride in the fantastic natural scenery on a beautiful Berber/Arab horse. We eat a packed lunch at a suitable place and sleep at the camp in spacious tents with comfortable beds. There is a shower and toilet here.
Day 6
We ride until lunch, then we say goodbye to our lovely horses, our hosts and go to Ait Ben Haddou for the night. Many films have been shot here, including Game of Thrones.
Day 7
After breakfast we go to Marrakech and we can do some shopping, maybe get a massage or go to a museum. We eat our last dinner together.
Day 8
Departure early in the morning with many memories to take home.
