Day 1
Welcome to Morocco! Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to the hotel, and a shared welcome dinner.
Day 2
We leave the bustling city behind and travel south through the mighty Atlas Mountains, where we stop for breakfast. Lunch is enjoyed in Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before continuing to Agdz—often called the gateway to the Sahara. Here we spend the night with a local family and enjoy a traditional homemade dinner.
Day 3
After yoga and breakfast, the journey continues towards the majestic sand dunes of Merzouga. Upon arrival at our comfortable desert camp, lunch is served, followed by horseback riding. For non-riders, other activities are available to enjoy. Dinner is served at camp, and in the evening we gather around the fire, listen to drumming, and soak in the desert atmosphere.
Day 4
Another day of riding awaits those who wish, along with visits to local nomads, walks in the oases, and the chance to learn about life in the desert.
Day 5
New Year’s Eve begins with a desert trek. Tonight, we sleep under the open sky, accompanied by the soft sounds of camels. Here, surrounded by the magic and stillness of the desert, we welcome the New Year under a canopy of stars.
Day 6
We return to camp for lunch before bidding farewell to the desert and its wonderful staff. The journey continues to Ouarzazate, known as Morocco’s Hollywood, where we visit film studios and spend the night.
Day 7
After breakfast, we leave the Sahara behind and travel back to Marrakech through the dramatic landscapes of the Atlas Mountains. With a local guide, we explore Marrakech’s souks, fragrant alleyways, and vibrant atmosphere. There’s also free time to enjoy a hammam, museum visit, or shopping. In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner.
Day 8
With hearts full of experiences and memories, we travel home.
